Symposium on Advanced Practices in Child Maltreatment: Halifax, October 10-12, 2018

The 9th annual Canadian Symposium on Advanced Practices in Child Maltreatment will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on October 10 – 12, 2018. The event is hosted by the IWK Suspected Trauma and Abuse Response Team (START) and SeaStar Child and Youth Advocacy Centre, in conjunction with the Child and Youth Maltreatment Section of the Canadian Pediatric Society.

The two-part symposium will feature topics for advanced practice medical clinicians (Oct 10-11), and multidisciplinary professionals (Oct 12), with a focus on current and emerging issues in child maltreatment.
