COVID-19: SeaStar Workshops Postponed

*UPDATE* December 2020

SeaStar workshops have resumed, and are now being offered virtually.
See our Workshops page for more information and upcoming dates.

March 18, 2020

Due to COVID-19 precautions, all SeaStar workshops have currently been postponed.

We will determine options to reschedule once more information is available.

In the meantime, we encourage you to explore the resources in our Learn More page.

In particular, we recommend this free webinar series, which features content similar to our workshops:

Making Sense of Trauma

Created by New Directions in association with the Manitoba Trauma Information and Education Centre. This webinar helps participants learn how to use a trauma-informed perspective to better understand the relational, neurobiological and developmental impact of trauma on children and youth. It includes information on understanding the patterns of children’s behaviour, and some practical tools to begin helping children to manage those behaviours. Free, registration required.
